Brooklyn Lives Project 2006
The Brooklyn Lives Project began in February 2006 in which our education and media campaign resulted in 12 HIV/AIDS prevention presentations at Brooklyn high schools and a media education campaign that extended to every major TV, radio, and print market in New York City. 87 people were tested for HIV including 32 people under the age of 17.
We also held an Empowerment Breakfast at Brooklyn Borough Hall and a Concert at the Klitgord Auditorium of New York City College of Technology.
