Get Tested
Testing for HIV/AIDS is an important part of prevention, treatment, and support efforts. 1 in 4 people with HIV/AIDS continue to infect others because they do not know their status. Knowledge of one’s HIV status is important for preventing the spread of disease. Testing provides an opportunity for people to receive counseling, connect them with medical care and support services, and many who learn they are HIV positive modify their behavior to reduce the risk of spreading the disease to others.
